What is an EPC?
EPC stands for Energy Performance Certificate. Since legislation introduced in 2007, all houses for sale or let are legally required to obtain an EPC before marketing. All commercial premises are also required to display one.
An EPC provides information on a property’s energy efficiency, heating costs and carbon emissions, and can only be carried out by a qualified, accredited assessor.
About Cheshire EPC
Cheshire EPC is owned and run by Nathan Wright, an Elmhurst Accredited Domestic Energy Assessor who has held the NEAE level 2 qualification since the role was introduced in 2007. We already supply EPCs on behalf of many of the North West’s leading estate agents, solicitors, property developers and private landlords.
Most people don’t realise there is no need to organise your EPC through your estate agent. By contacting Cheshire EPC directly you can avoid any mark-ups and get the same accredited certificate for less. The EPC will be uploaded and emailed to you the same day.
Commercial EPC’s
Commercial buildings also require an EPC whenever they become available for sale or let. Cheshire EPC can assist with obtaining a commercial EPC through one of our carefully selected trading partners. Commercial EPC’s vary in price depending on size and complexity — contact us for a quote.
