EPC stands for Energy Performance Certificate and was introduced in 2007. All houses for sale or let in Northwich are legally required to obtain an EPC prior to marketing.

It is also a requirement that all commercial premises display an Energy Performance Certifcate.

An EPC provides information on the energy efficiency, heating costs and carbon emissions of the property.
